VALUATION FEES & FURTHER INFORMATION BELOW:

Items for Sale or Auction Valuations

We will provide a Free Valuation of your items if your intention is to sell your property to us for a cash sum or through our auction sales.  You will not be obligated to accept our offer.

Insurance Valuations

£25.00 set fee plus 1% of the overall value of your valuables / collection.  This charge is subject to VAT at 17.5%.

A detailed, expertly written valuation will be produced for submission to your insurers plus an additional copy for your retention.  We can also provide professional images of your items on disc if requested.  The charge per image depends on how many images need to be taken in total.  Contact us for further details.

Valuation of Lost or Stolen Items

In the case of items that have been lost or stolen, we will prepare estimates of replacement value for the insurers or adjusters, provided accurate information is available.  The charge for this service is the same as for Insurance above.

Probate or Family Division Valuations

£25.00  set fee plus 2% of the overall value of your valuables / collection.  This charge is subject to VAT at 17.5%.

A detailed, expertly written valuation is prepared and two copies provided.  More copies are available on request if required.  Please note that if you and your family decide to dispose of the items after the probate process is complete, we will in most cases agree to purchase them at the probate values we specified or enter them in to one of our future auction sales where we would expect the prices realised for your items, after commission, to exceed the probate values.

Additional Charges

If you wish us to value goods at your home, bank or safe deposit, a negotiable, off-site charge will be made.

If you wish to send us items for valuation by post then the cost of return postage and packing will be added to your valuation fee.  Remember to use an insured, signed for service with a tracking facility such as Special Delivery when sending items to us.
